Parker University is proud to welcome and provide a new level of real-world experience for four outstanding Cristo Rey Dallas College Preparatory student workers as they partner with several departments on campus.

Opened in 2015, Cristo Rey Dallas is a Catholic high school in Pleasant Grove that provides college prep education to students of all faiths. Currently, more than 12,000 students are enrolled in 40 different Cristo Rey network schools. The school’s prestigious Corporate Work Study Program helps its students earn about 60% of their tuition and helps them learn and grow both professionally and personally. Within this unique program, students utilize their strengths and interests to work on a team while also focusing on building workplace skills and achieving goals.

Cristo Rey students bring resources and community connection to the Parker University workplace. These four dedicated and hardworking Cristo Rey students are making their mark at Parker University, already doing what it takes through the Corporate Work Study Program to help make their future dreams a reality:

This collaboration aligns perfectly with our commitment to fostering human potential, providing valuable opportunities for students to thrive, and preparing the next generation of leaders in healthcare and beyond.”

Throughout the experience, Cristo Rey program job teams have a Corporate Work Study Program manager for support and they are each held to a high level of expectation around their workday attendance and performance. Students provide real, value-added work supporting the needs of the business they partner with.
